As the Caswell House open day is fast approaching, here at Fabulous Flowers We felt it was very fitting to share the images from Lydia and Julian’s wedding which capture Caswell House in all its glory, with shots from brilliant as ever, Baker Evans. White with a very small touch of lavender really was perfectly fitting to the summer gardens at Caswell.
Lydia and Julian chose to make a statement when the guests arrived at Caswell house, filling the Bar area with olive trees and luscious garden plants to bring the outside in. French lavenders, moss, old apple crates, vintage watering cans and even a Dovecote gave the feeling of a gardener’s paradise.
Our aim was to create something a little different when it came to table centres, Lydia’s late Father was a keen gardener and we were eager for this to come across with the flowers, using standard olive trees for some height on the tables, mixed with potted herbs and bottles of flowers. This really was a feast for the senses.
The top table was adorned with small terracotta pots brimming with herbs, roses and lavendar, with of course, mini Olive trees too!
Many Congratulations to Julian and Lydia who were a dream to work with along the whole process.
