Sometimes we forget how lucky we are to be situated in one of the most beautiful cities in England and from day to day we take our surroundings for granted but every now and then our eyes are reopened. This particular wedding of Harry and Claire is the ultimate Oxford experience, with their reception held at the famous Bodleian library. The intricate, high stone ceiling is beautiful within its own right and we always strive to compliment this. With masses of white hydrangea, peonies, dahlias and roses with subtle touches of sage and olive foliage, a classical yet garden feel was brought to the Bodleian.
With peonies being Claire’s favourite flower a tight massed dome complimented the light and airy skirt to her dress wonderfully.
Flower full domes of hydrangea, roses, dahlias, and sage foliage sit upon crystal clear fluted vases to make sure the eye is taken up toward the amazing ceilings.
Low vases of only hydrangea bring the floral element back down to the tables and are perfect for when guests are sitting down.
