Marissa and James were married on a sunny August afternoon at Le Manoir. They chose a soft and romantic palette of white and pinks, featuring English roses and peonies with a nod to1920s glamour.
Marissa chose an elegant bouquet of white and blush Peonies, the
simplicity of the bouquet worked exquisitely against the intricate
detail of her dress. We were lucky enough to get a sneak previous of the
dress at our first consultation, but it looked even more stunning on
the day – Marissa looked truly beautiful. James and his little boy
looked handsome sporting classic Camilla buttonhole, reminiscent of the
1920s Gatsby style.
The Conservatory was dressed with scattered rose petals, hand tied rose pew ends and two feature urns with lush delphiniums, roses and peonies with soft English foliage. The weather was lovely enough to open the conservatory doors for the ceremony, so the guests could really appreciate the gardens.
We decorated La Belle Époque with fabulous hydrangeas, roses, peonies, and stocks in whites with pale blush pinks, and of course plenty of romantic candlelight.
We always love working at Le Manoir, but it’s particularly enjoyable when working with such a charming couple! We received a lovely post card from Marissa and James who were enjoying their honeymoon in Italy.
The stunning photos were taken by the talented Paul Wilkinson who truly captured the romance of the day!
